I source my faux fur, foam, and supplies almost exclusively from local craft stores and fabric departments. Being able to feel the tactile qualities of a fabric before I apply it to a project is very important to me and I find so much of my inspiration in the aisles filled with fabric. I have dedicate myself to supporting the companies that have helped me to flourish and every purchase of my products goes directly into this!!

Recycled Materials + Minimal Waste

We live on a beautiful planet that is choked with pollution. The crafting and clothing industries can be some of the most wasteful, especially considering that most fursuits and fursuit parts are made entirely of plastic. Protecting the environment is something I have always been passionate about and I keep this in mind when making my products!! I rely on a lot of recycled materials in my crafting process, as well as in the final creations. I feel better wearing my fursuits knowing that they were made with Mother Nature in mind!!

Artists Against AI
I do not and will never use Artificial Intelligence. I believe that AI will not replace artists and is doing more harm than good for society as a whole. Data centers have a horrible impact on the environment and the communities around them and are used to attack vulnerable people on and offline. I will not use ai. Not in my ideation, not in my artwork, not in my crafting, not in my sales. AI has no place at Chickn Scratch Creations.
